On Tuesday, November 19, I attended a talk given by renowned journalist and professor Rosemary Armao on campus. Ms. Armao led a conversation with the other students and I on topics ranging from the basics of being a courageous, determined reporter to how she handles covering major stories, such as the Impeachment Inquiries, and stays true to herself and her beliefs in the face of criticism and the widespread accusations regarding "Fake News." Ms. Armao emphasized the importance of challenging authority, being curious, and never straying from how she identifies herself to meet the expectations of others – all traits indicative of a strong leader. Below is an image of Ms. Armao and her official biography.
